The Grounds Guys of Collingwood is now taking resumes for individuals to join there Landscape Garden crew teams. The position being searched for is a Team Member to take the role of being able to be supervised be team leader on daily tasks.

The crew is responsible for all aspects of Spring and Fall cleanup including the weekly maintenance gardens, landscape construction installs, including but not limited to the following:

-Plant identification

-Weeding, Cultivating

-Edging, pruning and dead heading

-Planting and maintenance of Annuals and Perennials

-Operating power equipment including Hedge trimmer/Gas powered pruner and leaf blower

-The use of assorted hand tools

-Spreading soil and mulch

-Watering and fertilizing

-Daily property reports

-The Planting of various types of Perennials, Shrubs and Tree's

The successful applicant will:

-Be energetic with good work ethic

-Able to lift up to 60 lbs

-Superior attention to detail

-Be willing too learn and follow direction

-Be willing to work in all climate

-Enjoy working within a team

-Will have valid and clean G licence

-CSA approved steel toe boots or shoes

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
