The Grounds Guys of Collingwood is seeking a passionate, experienced Landscape Lead Hands for our fast growing Landscape Construction Division. The Grounds Guys is a widely recognized brand built on the principles of excellent workmanship, customer satisfaction, and real care. As a Team Leader, you are responsible for managing a team up to 4 people while preforming the delivery of services. Our clients trust us to provide quality services and you are key in helping us live out our values every day.

You are a proactive leader and self-starter who can trust within the public and our employees. You have a strong work ethic and are able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. You have experience in landscaping and previous supervisory experience, as well as proven communication skills with supervisors, employees and customers.

HARDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION LEAD HAND: JOB REQUIREMENTS.

-Ability to lead by example and work with and as a team and by yourself

-Attention to detail at a high level

-Organized and Punctual

-Must be able to read and interpret blueprints accurately

-Must be able to operate all aspects of landscape construction equipment and heavy equipment

-Willing to work outdoors in changing climates

-Ability to lift 30-60 lbs

-Physically capable to withstand the daily tasks

-Very little travel

-Min of 45 hours per week, on a Bi-weekly pay structure

-Full class G license with abstract is required, and must be able to get to and from Collingwood street Shop

-3-5 years experience in landscape construction

-Experience with all aspects of Stone installs, Waterfalls, retaining wall, in-ground pool installs, precision cutting.

Compensation: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
