The Grounds Guys is fast growing company and we offer great long-term opportunities for the right candidates. The ideal candidates will possess a working knowledge of outdoor power equipment to include: mowers, line trimmers, edgers, chain saws, gas powered trimmers, sod cutters, pruning saws and blowers. Must be able to manage a crew of up to 3 landscape technicians, lift 50 lbs., work outdoors and be able to train and oversee employees to company performance standards.

We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a minimum of 1 years of experience in landscape installation and maintenance. Career growth opportunities are available for the right candidates. Must have valid Texas Driver License and a good driving record, bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

Weekly lawn mowing, edging, and string trimming around trees and beds
Willing to work in varying weather conditions
Manage employee(s) and be responsible for maintenance of assigned equipment

Qualifications

Valid Texas Driver license
1+ years of relevant lawn care and/or landscape experience
Knowledge of plant materials and landscape installation
Bilingual – English/Spanish
Communicate effectively with clients
Must be able to operate a mid-size truck with a trailer, and learn to operate motorized equipment
Work effectively with office personnel and team members
Punctual, self-motivated, and able to complete tasks without immediate supervision.
Must be able to work on an occasion Saturday if needed.

Compensation: $12.00-$18.00 depending on experience
